Psalms 1:2-3

Hi! Wow, really thanks for inviting me into this awesome blog which I believe has been created with the purpose to glorify His Kingdom. Well, this is so far my first and only blog I've really joined so far, so pardon me for any ignorance on my part. Just felt the Lord spoke to me recently about psalms 1:2-3,

2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.

3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season
Whose leaf also shall not wither
And whtever he does shall prosper.

Just felt that the Lord wants to encourage us, that sometimes in our lives, we often get too busy with the things around us (our studies, our weekend schedule etc.), that sometimes these things begin to overwhelm us that we begin to forget that there is a God that is there for us. Things of the natural begin to creep into our lives that we soon begin to forget to look beyond, into the supernatural. Ps 1:3 says that "He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters." who are the "tree"? We are the tree. What are the rivers of waters? The Holy spirit. A tree that is planted by the rivers of waters will always receive an abundance of water supply and never grow dry due to a lack of nourishment. Similarly, when spiritually we begin to allow God to pour out upon us an overflowing abundance of His spirit into our lives, we will never run dry growing and serving in the kingdom of God. We become like a tree planted by the rivers of waters. We begin to walk in an intimate relationship with our King, knowing the destiny and purpose that He has for us in our lives, growing in the fruits and moving in the gifts of the spirit to fulfill the calling that He has for our lives. We just not only become fruitful, but we begin to bear forth fruits in its season, seizing the kairos supernaturally to fulfill everything He has called us to in God's prefect timing. "Whose leaf shall not wither"- our lives will neither be a dead nor boring one. God's tangible presence gives life and meaning to every moment that we live. Blessings upon blessings never cease to overwhelm us about His goodness, and everything we do will prosper. We are filled with His abundance in every area of our lives, that we cannot for one moment stop and say that God isn't real.

But how can we begin to experience God in such a tangible way? How can we begin to have a deeper and more intimate relationship with God? Well, Ps 1:2 says, " But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night." Begin to love God and desire His Word more and more. Begin to be so hungry and never be satisfied until God is able to speak a rhema Word in season into your life everyday. When you delight in something, you'll love and enjoy seeking them with all your heart, every single day! Jn 1:1 says, "the Word is God". You can never love God more than you love His Word. Neither can you seek God more than you seek His word. Nor can you honour God more than you do to His word. Ironically, it would take a hypocrite to say that he loves God, but does not obey his word nor keep his commandments.

How many of us are feeling spiritually dried out by the cares of the world today? Won't you allow God to refresh you anew again? Sometimes, because of our limited thinking, we begin to put God in a box that we think we can never relate to Him. But the Lord wants to encourage you NEVER to forget that first love you had when you first receive Him into your hearts. Believe it or not, that is the presence of God. How hungry are you to return back into that Agape love of God? If you have a condition in your life you feel it's too great that you cannot stand before God, remember, God's love is unconditional. If it was conditional, none of us would be where we are in Him today. That is why it is grace so amazing to unworthy people like us. If you are facing a challenge in your life you feel no one can help you handle, remember, nothing is impossible with God. God wants to draw so close to us, more than we can ever imagine. But the ball is at your call today. Would you cast down your burdens to Him today? The bible says that His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. Be like the tree today. Choose to plant youself by the rivers of water once again. Amen.
